This Privacy Policy is issued by PT Teknologi Integrasi Optima under the brand name “Tek Ino” and explains how personal data is processed in connection with the provision of our AI-based digital services.
Data processing is conducted in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Indonesia’s Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP), where applicable.
- Data Processing Scope
The platform processes data solely for the purpose of providing contracted services to business users. Data is processed based on user instructions and system configurations.
The platform processes personal data solely in its capacity as a data processor acting on documented instructions from business users.
- Types of Data
Depending on service usage, the platform may process:
- Business account and contact information
- User-provided content, prompts, and configuration data
- Technical and usage data required for system operation
- Messaging and End-User Data
Where messaging services are used, any personal data relating to message recipients is processed solely on behalf of the business user. The business user acts as the data controller and is responsible for ensuring lawful data collection, consent, and transparency toward end users.
The platform processes such data only to deliver the requested services and does not use it for independent purposes.
Requests from end users regarding their personal data must be directed to the relevant business user acting as data controller.
- WhatsApp Business Messaging Data
Where the platform is used in connection with the WhatsApp Business Platform, message content and related personal data are processed solely on behalf of the respective business user for the purpose of delivering contracted messaging services.
Tek Ino does not use such data for independent marketing, profiling, analytics, or commercial purposes unrelated to the provision of the contracted services. Processing is carried out strictly in accordance with the documented instructions of the business user and applicable data protection laws.
Business users remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with WhatsApp Business Platform terms and applicable data protection requirements in relation to their end users.
- Data Sharing
Data may be shared with third-party service providers strictly for operating and maintaining the platform, including hosting providers and communication platform integrations, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Cross-Border Data Transfers
Data processed through the platform may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the user’s jurisdiction, including outside Indonesia and the European Union, for the purpose of providing the services. Where such cross-border data transfers occur, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable data protection laws to ensure the continued protection of personal data.
- Data Security and Retention
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the services or as required by applicable laws.
